‘Majan’ director talks about its screening

The director of ‘Majan’, Rahman Seifi-Azad has announced that the best time to air the film would be after the Islamic month of Ramadan.

“We are currently doing some mild editing and we still do not have a definite screening time”, Seifi-Azad announced.

He added that since ‘Majan’ is a film made for the whole family, Iranian families could enjoy the film together in the holy days of Ramadan.

‘Majan’ is a social drama which went on screen for the first time at the Iran Cinema Perspective section of the Fajr Film Festival in its 35th edition.

The film, produced by Mohammad-Mehdi Asgarpour and written by Leila Larijani, features Iranian stars Mahtab Keramati and Farhad Aslani.

‘Majan’, meaning dear mom in some Persian accents, is about a couple who have to deal with the challenge of raising their child.
